Gympie Hockey is excited to open our brand new Umpire Academy to all of our members. The Umpire Academy will help to develop and improve our umpires from juniors right through to seniors.

The Academy is open to all ages and abilities and will include the following:

- Junior & Senior Workshops
- on-field mentoring of umpires
- offering feedback
- access to online education material
- assistance with umpire accreditations
- rules briefings

We are very pleased to announce Andrew Parker as our Umpire Academy Lead Coach.
Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position and is passionate about helping nuture our umpires. He will be on the ground as much as possible to assist with junior and youth umpires and to answer any questions.
